Dr Paul McCarthy CPychol. HCPC Practitioner Psychologist was appointed as the inaugural resident sport psychologist at the Home of Golf - St Andrews, Scotland. He supports professional athletes in various sports, especially professional golfers. He has supported, and continues to support, golfers who play on various tours (e.g., European, Challenge, Tartan, Jamega)and development squads as well as aspiring university golfers. He continues to lecture, research and write about the psychology of sport outside his consulting hours. His research explores attention and emotion. He works online at Performicity
