Reflecting back to when I first started working with Hannah, I realise I was in quite a bad place mentally. I didn't fully recognise how much I was affected by not living the life I wanted. Our conversations provided me with the clarity I needed and helped me take positive actions for my well-being.
I’m so much more self-aware - I’ve a better understanding of who I am and how my brain works. I'm more comfortable addressing thoughts that come to mind and feel at ease without apologising for being myself.
Overall, I have gained new perspectives and am excited about my future. I feel that the insights I've gained from working with Hannah will make me a better person all around.
I was recommended Hannah by a friend after mentioning I was having a mental block with mountain biking. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the sessions felt like a relaxed chat, revealing important insights, and giving me things to think about in between sessions.
Over a few weeks, I noticed the blockers were starting to remove on the 'easier' stuff and the 'harder' stuff wasn't feeling like such a challenge.
Having spent time with Hannah, I've noticed a huge change in my mountain biking - no longer beating myself up if I don't ride something and recognising the positives and good things about the ride.
I'm properly tight-fisted and initially thought this might not be a sensible use for my money, but after the second session I was seeing tangible improvements and now consider it has been money very well spent. The sessions have really helped me and I've several things to focus on to maintain the improvements.

This season, I'm much more confident and calmer in general, something my coach has also recognised and commented on. I haven't experienced extreme pre-match nerves and have been better able to implement the strategies Hannah and I discussed.
I can now look at job opportunities without a huge surge of panic. Although I still get anxious, I'm able to sustain the job search process. I shared with Hannah that I wouldn't have been able to reach this point without our conversations.
I've found the conversational, informal style of our sessions has worked well for me. Overall, it's been a really positive start to my psychology journey with Hannah.
