I am a Sport and Exercise Psychologist in Training (SEPiT) and completed a PhD in Sports Psychology. I have researched with, and provided support to, athletes at all levels (amateur through to elite). I additionally work as a Lecturer in Applied Psychology at Glasgow Caledonian University.
Anyone can visit and benefit from a Sports and Exercise Psychologist and develop psychological skills that can be transferred to other areas of life. I have a person-centred approach, this means that and firmly believe that my role as a Psychologist is to empower clients and enable them to fulfil potential as person and a performer. I am driven to help clients understand more about themselves and their performances. It is my aim to equip clients with the skills to plan, monitor, and control their thoughts and performances in order to allow them to maximise their potential on and off the field.
I have an active research profile and all of my practice is underpinned by the latest research in Sports, Exercise, and Performance Psychology.
